Amerindian inhabitants gave Guadeloupe the name Karukera, meaning "Island of Beautiful Waters". And with a host of stunning turquoise waters offering the some of the best dive sites in the world, an underwater haven for marine life and a top class sailing destination, we have to agree!

A fascinating archipelago of islands, including Petit Terre, Les Saintes, and Marie-Galante to name a few, each island offers something different, whilst keeping true to its Franco-Caribbean culture.

Recharge your batteries aboard your Luxury Class catamaran and enjoy the sights and sounds as you sail into secluded bays framed by white, sandy beaches. Jump into clear waters for a swim in the shallows, or kayak and paddleboard to get the best views of the coast. Get your dive gear ready for the world-famous "Réserve Cousteau", the perfect diving and snorkeling paradise.

If exploring is more your style, you'll find the islands lush and mountainous, offering the perfect activity for adventurous hikers. A photographer's dream, the islands will provide the perfect backdrop to capture local culture at its best. From carts carrying sugarcane to adorable seaside towns, you won't want to miss a thing.

As part of France, Guadeloupe's currency is the Euro - a handy reminder for those wanting to explore the pretty villages and spice markets to take a taste of the Caribbean home with them!

Located in the Eastern Caribbean, Guadeloupe is an archipelago located in the middle of the Leeward Islands, roughly 17 degrees north of the equator.

After landing at Pointe à Pitre Airport, you’ll need to take a short taxi ride to Marina Bas du Fort. We’re based next door to "Capitainerie" (Harbour Office), and it's here your Guadeloupe yacht charter crew will welcome you aboard for your journey of discovery.

Baleine - Guadeloupe - Max Depth: 50ft - Just north of Les Saintes lies a navigational hazard called la Baleine.  The protruding reef resembles a whale's back, with the waves splashing over it looking like its spout. Descending down a coral encrusted channel marker to a maximum of 50 ft.  Barrel sponges and sergeant majors, turtles, lobsters and several different species of eels. In season you can hear the whales calling out in the deep channel between Les Saintes and Guadeloupe.
